10/28/2013 I decided I wanted a bigger version so I went for super bulky yarn. Couldn’t find just the right color of yarn for the ribbon, so I settled for a lighter color. Looking back, her favorite color is pink so maybe I should’ve gone for a pink heart. This yarn is also acrylic so I’m not doing the wings, at least not right now.

11/20/2013 Originally I had the heart saying MOM and liked how it looked, even though I had to add a little heart to it because it wasn’t centred. Then got it in my head that it should say MAMA since when I’m talking directly to her I call her that. I did the letters with a tapestry needle and worsted yarn, doing a mock stockinette stitch to fill in parts of them.

Also added perfume to the stuffing as it went in, scenting it, and added strips of linen with her close relatives names for a purely ritualistic reason. Unfortunately I did the names in permenant marker and no perfume will cover it up. Bah.

Her name is also on the back.
