Striped version of the hat! It’s a little bit more work, handling the 2 colors throughout the sections, but I love how it looks!

I bought both of these yarns in Edinburgh on my trip there in 2012; they are both made from local wools. The New Lanark colorway is Sandstone/Pebble/Ecru - it’s 1 strand of each of those natural colorways, plied together. The K1 store has since closed; this was their house yarn so it doesn’t exist anymore - it’s 100% Shetland wool.

It only took a couple of nights to knit, but then I frogged all but section 1 and reknit it after making some significant improvements to the pattern.
