Notes

This yarn is a cotton/alpaca blend with a little poly for strength. It’s very nice to work with -- splits a little easily but feels nice in the hand.

So far the pattern is super easy. Somehow I ended up with 2 extra stitches in each section, but that doesn’t seem to matter.

I ended up wondering if I should have made a buttonhole, but it was too late. Instead, I found a toggle button in my stash and popped that on just in case the sweater would need to be closed.

I didn’t think the sleeve decreases towards the wrist worked, so I did my own. The pattern doesn’t specify how to do the increases for the shoulder seams, so I did them by picking up a stitch from in between stitches, which resulted in a little detail of a hole -- you can see by clicking on my last picture. Maybe a different kind of increase would result in a less ventilated seam! It is fine for this lightweight sweater.

See my blog post for more info.
