My first real knitting disaster in 15 years of knitting…

I had a gauge swatch, washed it, etc. all worked

The final pieces measured on point

Blocked with wool wash and it’s big enough for 2 people. It’s ridiculous.

Yarn harlot says that means you had a problem with gauge, but the cascade literally turned into soft flat cables. It’s weird!

Cried last night a bit and now am in problem solving mode - the hubby was kind and says he likes it with the sleeves rolled up 4 times.

Sigh - really thought about hot water and a dyer last night (I did dry it a bit and it did nothing)
