Camilla Emond of Magnolia Handspun first knitted this hat, when I designed the Aspen Ice Cowl with her yarn. She gave the original hat away, but we’ve been bombarded with requests for the pattern ever since she put up a photo of the hat on her blog.

Based on her design, I tested and wrote up the pattern and published it for free on KNITFreedom.
