First time I’m using double knitting technique, and first time knitting a pair of mittens.

Cast on 17+17 stitches. Half-sided English rib with smaller needles. ~30 rows for main part before decreasing. 6 stitches for thumb, +2 on both sides ~13 rows before decreasing.
