Notes

I want to make an A shaped dress, fit at the yoke, but loose as it progresses down the body. I plan on adding some colorwork at the bottom of the dress. Sleeves will reach the elbow.

Started this project using the yoke pattern from the Simplest Sweater.
Followed the pattern until I split the stitches for the sleeves. After that, I worked 2 rows of knitting in the round - having stitch markers at the beginning and middle.
I had to increase the number of stitches, so after 2 rows of knitting, I increased once every 7th stitch, before reaching the half of the torso I increased after the sixth stitch. Slipped the marker for the middle, continued to increase every 7th stitch and before reaching the end of the row, I did a last increase after the sixth stitch.
Worked 8 rows of plain knitting.
Worked another increase, every 8th stitch (7th stitch before the middle marker & before the end of row).
Will work 12 rows of knitting in the round then will think about how to increase further.

30.01.2019

decided to keep knitting in the round, without more increases until the dress will cover the beginning of the hips. then will work more increases, to shape it as an A, before working the bottom in colorwork.

25.10.2020

At the beginning of this year decided to add some color to this dress. And combined the rainbow colors to add a colorful section, then a section of foxes before casting off.
I love the result.
The dress is a bit longer than anticipated, but when the time comes, the baby bump will make it look the right size.
