Trying out this flower/star motif pattern with thoughts of a future project - a multi-colored wool throw… for Us!. This scarf gives you some idea of how I imagine it will look.

These stars are quick and easy, about 4” across; might as well make enough of them for a baby blanket - an opportunity to use up misc. baby yarns.

7/6/12, Part 3: Joined 6 rounds of star motifs, decided it should be bigger. All out of “matching” variegated yarns, so made enough plain white stars to complete a 7th round.

4/13/12, Part 2: two more yarns yielded 49 more Stars = 102, started joining

3/26/12, A Crochet Whim: 21 Brite Stars and 42 Light Stars = 63… so far
