Nov. 6, 2014 - SweeTart Ta-Dah
Border: 1 round white dc, 2 rounds RHSS ‘Tea Leaf, one dc, one hdc, for just the right amount of green, finished with a sc picot edging of bright pink
Hmmm - when the finished blanket is laid out flat I see the double round of assorted single-color color squares is rather distracting. Wish I’d used only very light colors, or a single color, for those squares. But it’s still a fun little blanket that looks Great when thrown over a bench!
Oct. 3, 2014 - Ready for a Border

July 17, 2014 - A New Granny
Having two grannies already in progress, three if you count the bag of squares I got at a thrift shop, did nothing to stop me from starting a third, a scrap one of solid and two-round squares that are mostly pastel colors. Join-as-you-go.
This project is doing its intended job - my stash of tiny scrap balls is shrinking. Beginning to steal colors from stash of larger scrap balls, which will, of course, make more tiny scrap balls.
I’ve already dealt with all but two rounds of the yarn ends. Yay!
Plan to do a couple more rounds, then a simple border.
