Bought a 36” square granny baby blanket at Savers for just $2.39 over a year ago. It has patiently waited for me to get around to enlarging it to a kids-sized blanket!

I had no idea how much yarn I needed for this project. I only knew that I had no more than one skein and sometimes only a partial one of each of the colors of yarn that I thought would look good.

It was a fun and interesting process to decide which color to use next!

Edging: First round - all hdc
