News that one of DH’s co-workers had a baby girl sent me deep into the stash for this particular cotton/wool sock yarn, which I remember buying at a fantastic discount when a yarn shop closed a few years ago. What a great color combo for a little girl!

I combined the ribbing and body of the Bright Colors Baby Hat with the pixie top and i-cord from Lyric.

The broad stripes this yarn creates took me by surprise, but I think my hybrid hat came out cute!

There’s so much yarn left, I’m going to knit some matching baby legwarmers!
