Not making as many ripple afghans now that I’m doing the crochet edged fleece blankets. Planning to do at least one a month for awhile.

Mmmmm. I like October’s very, Very much!!

Using seven colors in various sized skeins and partial skeins created a real design puzzle for me. But since I know that one ounce of an aran weight acrylic usually yields about 3 rows in my smaller version of the Rustic Ripple, it wasn’t completely impossible to figure out a repeating stripe pattern with the available amounts.

As usual I modified the Rustic Ripple pattern - used an H hook with only one strand of yarn and increased each run of double crochet stitches to ten.
