Notes

Inspired by a photo ad for a Bright Pink and Peach polo shirt I ran to my attic stash. I didn’t have enough peach and pink yarns for a simply striped ripple, and my ‘Bright Pink’ is really more of a medium rose, but, by adding some light burgundy and rust (RHSS Coral), I had enough for a ripple.

The Coral RHSS is thinner than any of the other yarns (possibly Caron One Pound?) so, in an attempt to match their stitch gauge I used a size I (5mm) hook for those rows. That made them too open/flimsy, so I also switched from dcs to dcs. Aaah, just right! :D

As usual I modified the Rustic Ripple pattern - used an H hook with only one strand of yarn and increased each run of double crochet stitches to ten stitches.
