Notes

A traditional Valentine color combination of mixed red scraps, a pink and white in a not-quite-so-traditional striping pattern.

It’s easily deciphered:
2 Red,
then 1 White /1 Pink /1 White,
followed by 2 White /2 Pink /2 Red
and Repeat.

Easily converted to a Mardi Gras (purple/green/gold), St. Patrick’s Day (green/gold/white), Easter (maybe purple/yellow/white?), Independence Day (red/white/blue), Halloween (orange/yellow/white), Thanksgiving (brown/rust/tan) or Christmas (red/green/white) Ripple. I’m sure you can add many other special occasions to this list, each with their own fun color combo!

As usual I modified the Rustic Ripple pattern - used an H hook with only one strand of yarn and increased each run of double crochet stitches to ten stitches.
