Notes

Dug through stash hoping to create a softly blended rainbow of sherbet colors including many of the yarns from a recent donation.

There’s one chenille in the mix, periwinkle, which I placed at both the beginning and end as I built my yarn rainbow. It serves as the linchpin between blues and purples. If you visit my project page often you already know its source. Say it with me now – “Unraveled. From. A. Thrift. Store. Sweater.”, the most frugal source for fine chenille yarns! lol.

Made two-row stripes of most colors, one-row of the few, like yellow-green, of which I had very little.

This was a delightful project! Reminds me of Rainbow Swirl Sherbet. Yumm.
Want to make another rainbow ripple using the yarn remains from this one plus those that another rummage in my charity stash may turn up.

As usual I modified the Rustic Ripple pattern - used an H hook with only one strand of yarn and increased each run of double crochet stitches to ten stitches.
