Remembering how much fun I had making ‘Irresistible’, I got excited to make another Rainbow Ripple and gathered a spectrum of Bright acrylic Colors only to find I didn’t have enough of most of them. sigh.

Then it occurred to me that I could s-t-r-e-t-c-h my pretty colors by putting a row of black after every two rows of bright. Three old skeins of black weighed enough to do the job.

Maybe I should have called this my ‘Nerdy Ripple’, lol - look how closely the colors match!

As usual I modified the Rustic Ripple pattern - used an H hook with only one strand of yarn and increased each run of double crochet stitches to ten stitches.
