Single-row stripes of black and light grey lie between two row-stripes of dark purple and mauve, which are both chenille from thrift shop sweaters.

DH would rather I called this one “Black Eye”! groan – such a sense of humor.

As usual I modified the Rustic Ripple pattern - used an H hook with only one strand of yarn and increased each run of double crochet stitches to ten stitches.
