All those narrow single-row grey stripes worked so well in ’Dawn on a Rainy Day’, I thought I’d give them another try.

The width of the rest of this ripple’s stripes were determined by the amount I had of each of the other colors:

• the palest pink you can imagine
• TLC Essentials ‘Powder Pink’
• Fore-’n-Aft ‘Sandpiper’
• Lion Brand Sayelle ‘Dusty Rose’
• a heathered burgundy chenille
• a dark solid burgundy

As usual I modified the Rustic Ripple pattern - used an H hook with only one strand of yarn and increased each run of double crochet stitches to ten stitches.
