Notes

The idea for this ripple came from a tiny snippet I clipped from some magazine.

It’s pretty unusual for me to use so many colors – 8 – in a non-scrappy ripple, and they’re all over the place too: Pale, Light, Bright, Medium and Dark.

I opened a couple of more skeins from my yarn fairies, – Thank you ladies! – RHSS ‘Tea Leaf’ (#1) and ‘Light Blue’ (#2),
and then gathered several partial skeins of older yarns, including some that are much older: ‘Avocado’ from Banberry Crossing Wintuk (3), ‘Sandpiper’ Brunswick Fore-n’-Aft (4), ‘Soft Pink’ – Red Heart Puff (5), ‘Candy Pink’ – Sayelle (6), ‘White’ – Caron Wintuk (7), and a pale yellow, ‘Primrose’ – from both Fashion Knit and Love Knit (8).

It may be November, but these are definitely Spring Colors!

As usual I modified the Rustic Ripple pattern - used an H hook with only one strand of yarn and increased each run of double crochet stitches to ten stitches.
