I’ve had this color combination in mind for quite a while and was anxious to see if it would look as good as I had imagined it might!

I’m really impressed with the way the three reds, RHSS Burgundy, RHSS Cherry Red and a very vibrant vintage red, balance each other.

I have plenty of the vintage red and since I just got two more skeins of Cherry at JoAnns ($1.50-$1.70 with 40 & 50% off coupons) and two more Burgundy at Savers ($1.20 each for the older 8 oz. skeins!) I think more triple-red combos are coming for Valentine’s Day!!

As usual, I modified the Rustic Ripple pattern, using one strand instead of two. Then, to make it a little wider I added another dc stitch to each uphill or downhill run, making them all ten stitches long.
