Yup, I’m back to my French Country ripple series, using up some more of my stash of French Country, a Red Heart Soft pastel variegated yarn. I finished #4 in this series back in Oct. 2011!

This was the first time I used so much of a dark color, the brown, in one of these. It makes quite a difference! #1-3 now look rather faded in comparison - you can see all five of the blankets in the series together here.

As usual, I modified the Rustic Ripple pattern, using one strand instead of two. Then, to make it a little wider I added another dc stitch to each uphill or downhill run, making them all ten stitches long.
