My second ripple planned around the colors in a RHSS variegated, Aspen Print. It’s unusual with very short color segments so every crochet stitch includes at least two colors. This creates very soft tweedy ripple stripes.

I modified the Rustic Ripple pattern using only one strand of yarn with an H hook and increased each run of double-crochet stitches to ten.

It’s interesting to compare Tranquility with Soothing (#15 of 2011), the first with Aspen Print.

Four skeins of Aspen Print remain.
