3/8/10: Finished Yay! I had to add some decreases around the underarms and did 5 rows of the diagrammed pattern for that, then added some mini shells to finish off the sleeves.

3/6/10 Finally had some time to work on this for a bit- added the edging to the body. Now I just need to figure out what I’d like to do for the sleeves.

2/10/10 I’m done with the large motifs (unless I use some on the sleeves) and just have a few small ones to add to the front, then I have to figure out what I want to do with the edging and sleeves.
2/3/10--Originally started another chevron cardi with this yarn but got bored with it, so I did a crochet cardigan search and wow, this sweater is gorgeous. The pattern is in Portugese so I’m going by the symbols and guesswork. It took me about 5 hooks to get the gauge I needed-- using a 3.25 mm hook the motif measures about 7” (times 6= 42” around should be a decent fit, as I’m about 38” at the bust and I can’t imagine going smaller with this yarn). I will probably make some modifications as I go, the first being to add at least one extra flower at each shoulder (thereby adding at least 1/2 flower in length).

I also changed the ch-15 loop on the outer round to a ch-13 (and it could even stand to be smaller).
