I originally made this mat for our bathroom- it’s significantly smaller (and brighter) than the finished pattern in Interweave-- fits right between the toilet and the tub. For this first draft, I didn’t employ a join-as-you-go method, but I rewrote it for the Interweave pattern since I’m an instant gratification kind of crocheter.

This is a really nice project for scraps, and it does lay flat for the most part (not sure what’s up with the mag photo…).
