Notes

2/3/10- I’m done except for weaving in the ends on the second miten. I really like these, and can see myself making more pairs for gifties, etc. I just love that they fit snugly instead of loosely. I may wear them despite the wooly factor b/c they’re so pretty!

2/1/10--One day when I was working at the Bozeman Yarn Shop, Barb came in with a ton of Mountain Colors mill ends and I dove in. I had crochet in mind, so I picked out a lot of colors, but these mitts hardly take any yarn. I used less than 2 of the teensy mill end skeins for the first mitt. I looove the yarn (love their colors, the texture, everything!) …didn’t realize it was a dk when I started, but it worked out anyway.

I went down a needle size b/c I am a loose knitter--and the first mitt fits great! I finished it mostly in a night. I taught myself the different left leaning and right leaning increases- yay. I am really liking how these are turning out…and will give wearing them a go, even though they are wool, and I dread how the TX allergies have made me more sensitive to wool. If itchy= gifty. Boooohooo.
