Notes

I never make the same thing twice, especially in the same color BUT

I must have had a moment of measuring impairment. The trunk show sample was in my shop, tried it on and it fit perfect. I measured it, more than once because I couldn’t believe the size was right. So I made my first one a size small. Even as I held up the pieces thinking “this is going to fit me?” I trudged along hoping it would block out. My gauge was spot on too. It turned out beautifully, but woefully too small for me and I really wanted this sweater for me to wear and not just a shop sample.

So here we go again. I have some dead time before fall yarns arrive. I knit all the boring ribbing first, so the stitch pattern should sail smoothly for me this time since I ditched the highlighter tape and can knit the pattern without relying on the instructions. So much for trying new fangled things.
