The Red Heart Soft substituted perfectly…I didn’t have to change needles at all to make gauge.

Tommy’s vest was a pretty quick knit, while Dad’s—wasn’t. I’d have to be pretty strongly motivated to make him a vest in anything smaller than worsted weight.

The second photo is from Christmas morning. They just tried the vests on over their pajamas.
