CO 36 sts and joined to work in the round.

I followed the pattern except:

• I worked 14 rounds even instead of 8 for thumb.
• I worked 3 k2tog instead of 2 after the thumb because I had erroneously cast on an extra stitch to begin with. This brought me back to the correct stitch count of 34.
• I worked 18 rounds after the thumb before starting to shape the top of the mitt.
