This is the Ornate version of my Heart of the Lotus knit in Bugga! Such delicious yarn, oh my. Many tiered cuffs are reminiscent of flowers within flowers, or chakras, or the lotus rising out of the muddy waters, opening to the sun in splendor. Wear them in either direction (see difference between 2nd and 3rd photos). These were knit for me by my friend ewemaniac. Camera doesn’t do this color justice. It’s rich, yet muted, soft as only cashmere can be soft. Actual color is somewhere between the two here, at least on my monitor. This small pair took almost the entire skein of yarn. If you want to make it larger and longer, it might be wise to purchase two skeins at the same time. If you have two skeins of different dye lots, use one skein to knit the part of the stem that will be hidden by the tiers (sections 2-5). You will definitely have enough of the other skein to knit the cuffs and all the tiers.
