Notes

as in, sigh, why do I wait so long in-between weaving things. I really enjoy the process so much.

I am using lovely bits of my stash all bought at Dairing.

This worked incredibly well. It is mainly made of Dairing linen as the warp, and then combinations of all sorts of lovely yarns…..superfine mohair, silk stainless steel, tobe moire, Dairing denim.

I kept colours to one end, the flash of blue denim is so complimentary to all the other colours, and will wash out slowly like a nice pair of jeans.

I knotted each end of the linen fringe (it has a tendency to fray and look messy.

The beauty of this creation is that it is hardy….meaning it was given a loving soak, then a smash around in the dryer. I find that this brings an amazing crinkle to the linen (plus makes it extremely easy to look after and love. Available via my Facebook page
