I used size 5 and 7 needles. I’d recommend a circular needle as my straight needles got quite heavy and caused some wrist pain.

My gauge was larger than the suggested so I made the size XS hoping it would fit. And it does!

My size 7 needle gave 15s x 21r =4.5”

It was quite large around the neck when adding the neck band (I’m a wide knitter) so I reduced the number of stitches to be picked up to 100 rather than 162 and it did the trick so that it can stay up on my shoulders.

I may make it again.

12/29/2014 An Update on the yarn and how it is wearing:

I have found the Debbie Bliss Cashmerino Superchunky to not wear well. At first, whenever I wore this sweater, I had green fuzz all over whatever was underneath. OK. I can handle that. But now, there are fuzzy piling and I can pick off rolled up fuzz hanging on the sweater, especially under the arms where it rubs on itself. It’s a bit messy. But I still love this softness and warmth of this sweater.
