on a trip to alaska in 2012, i found a skein of lace weight woolly silk yarn the same color as a glacier we stood on (incredible turquoise blue) making this shawl / scarf with it brought back memories of that amazing adventure with my sister. slowly picking it up / putting it down, it’s been a favorite take along / travel knit for the last almost 3 years. (a little sad it’s finished now).

cast on 100 stitches, knit in stockinette stitch until you run out of yarn (i used almost every bit) would look pretty in garter too. (approximately 18 x 76 inches). LOVE this yarn.
