i made up this pattern based on helene’s grown up version. they are tiny, so so tiny and were meant for a gift to the huldufólk in iceland as we camped our way around the island.

when my friend margie went camping in iceland, she left behind some of her beautiful crocheted stones for the hidden people, elves and fairies to find. she had the idea that i might do the same with my icelandic shoes.
