september 20, 2011 ~ casting on with size one needles and fingering weight wool for ribbing. this wool is so lovely i hope i do it justice.

october 25, 2011 ~ body done, no waist shaping, i think i’ll like it without. working on the first sleeve. wish i had a 12” size three needle. but dpn’s are fine. this wool is just gorgeous.

november 13, 2011 ~ done! oh my goodness i love this sweater. it was a lovely knit all the way through, but i underestimated how much time knitting approx. 6” of ribbing on a size 1 needle takes. since its knit from the bottom up, the yoke being last after picking up the sleeves, the end took much longer than i thought.
if i were to make it again (i think i will!), i would go up a size. i like it with no ease, but a bit looser would be nice.
i really love it though!
