I let my girls pick out a toy they liked on Valentine’s day and I’ll give them their choice later this week.

I had to do a few modifications of this pattern to get the stitch numbers to work on some of the rows.

Row 10 I had to change up a bit… don’t remember exactly what I had to do, but I had to make a few changes to end up with 12 stitches.

Also row 18 I changed to (1 dec, 2sc) around ending on dec in order to go from 26 to 17 stitches

Row 20 I changed to (sc, sc, dec) around ending on sc in order to decrease from 17 to 13 stitches.

I would like to do this pattern again I will probably try to alter it further to make the fox slimmer. He/she is certainly cute and I love the way the pattern author included the ears with the body instead of having them sewed on later. Very clever!

The only reason for the medium difficulty rating was my difficulty getting the stitch count to work following the pattern… I’m not sure if it was something I was misreading or if the pattern is off somehow.
