Well, never assume anything. I copied & pasted the instructions for this cowl & sat down to knit. I somehow didn’t copy the # of stitches to cast on. So…I guessed. I was ‘sure’ it was something like 160 sts. So, I cast on 160 sts. Instead of 108. So, I ran out of yarn at Row 18 during my second repeat. Warning bells? Yeah, I heard ‘em. And I ignored ‘em!
I bound off loosely with purls--and, voila! I have a shorter, but MUCH longer version of the gorgeous Beech Wood cowl which I can wear doubled in a beautiful bunchy cowl.
Finished & UNBLOCKED/unstretched dimensions: 5” high X 42” round.
Great pattern, easy & very pretty. LOVE the colors in this yarn!
