編みながらスモッキングしていく手法。
針にかける普通の作り目42。
2目ゴム編みの要領で、4段おきにスモッキング。
ただし、両脇は裏メリヤスになるように(repeat P2, K2 for 10 times, P2)。
ポットにかぶせると模様が広がり、七宝柄のようになってかわいい。
ポンポンは6.5cm幅の厚紙に90回ほど巻いた。

同じ糸で立て続けに４つ、同じ数の作り目（2目ゴム編みスタートな点も同じ）でパターンを変えて編んでみた。
まだまだいろいろ遊べそう＾＾
