I eventually encountered a picture of a ‘Interlocking Crochet’ work a few days ago, and I couldn’t help figuring out how to crochet such geometric patterns.
I started to crochet a basic sample pattern watching this how-to video, then tried some more rows, enjoying the patterns created as I crochet.
I didn’t mean to design any of these patterns; they are just a result of my experiment.
As a sort of memorial, I decided to make it into something usuful---a headband as an example.

I think this crochet is like a mosaic knitting(like this).
It’s reversible, and geometrical as well.
I like this and would love to make something bigger using this fun technique!

モザイク編みに似ているけれど、棒ではなくカギ編み。
で、これにも似ていると思ったけれど違った。
調べて作者のサイトにたどり着き、動画などを見ながらためし編み。
テケトーに編んでいったらプチサンプラーのようになったが、それぞれの模様は意図したものではなく、ほぼ成り行きの産物・・・ｆ＾＾；
せっかくなので使えるものにしようと思い、モザイク編みのときのようなヘッドバンドに仕立ててみた。
今回は伸縮性が少なかったので、平ゴムを使用した。
