{(k2,P2) x 10 + 2} x 4 rows = 1 block

For this teapot, I knitted 8 blocks(sliding the rib pattern 1 stitch backwards at the beg of each block to make ribs lean to the right)and then started to decrease.
When 6 stitches remain on the needle, cast off.
Knit one more of the same thing.
Sew each sides together remaining the spaces for a handle and a spout open.
Put a yarn through the remaining stitches.
Attach a pompom.

かかとなし靴下と同じ要領のリブをティーコゼーにしてみた。
はじめ左に傾くスパイラル（リブ）に編んでいたのだが、裏を見るとそちらの模様の方がいい気がして、今回は右に傾く方を表側に採用。

2枚目の画像は表裏を見比べたもので、実際には2枚とも同じ右傾パターンの側を表にして両脇をまつりとじした（取っ手と注ぎ口の部分は空けて）。

ポンポンをつけてみたらでっかくなり過ぎ・・（幅6.5cmの厚紙に約100回巻きつけた）
毛糸も食うし、次回は少なくとも幅をもっと小さくしてみるべし。
