3/8/14: first sock completed. Once you get past the errata, this is actually a cute little pattern!

Errata notes to come, once I’m back on my computer and not my phone.

8 pattern repeats per sock.

Errata:

1. Row 2: written instructions do not match the chart; should read (P1 K7 P1)* to match the 9-stitch pattern repeat

2. It didn’t seem to me that the leg of a baby sock should be 7 inches long. I knitted to 7 cm, which ended up matching my “regular” sock ratio of the leg being the same length as the foot.

3. When working the toe decreases, the instructions for round 1 ask you to slip one more stitch marker than you actually have in place, and to knit a stitch that’s not there. Round 1 should read: “Knit to 3 sts before marker, k2tog, k1, sm, k1, ssk, knit to 3 sts before marker, k2tog, k1, sm, k1, ssk, knit to end of rnd.”
