Figured I’d try me some toe-up magic loop socks. Why not?

I’ve been tinkering with the technique and the gauge and the pattern since 6 November, and have now started working it in earnest. Woo.

First sock cast off on 12-7-14. Taking a break to finish another WIP, and then I’ll be back at this!

12-20-14: back at it - casting on sock #2!
12-26-14: aaaaand frogging. Gauge is off by a stitch. Grrrr
01-16-15: started back up on the second sock around the start of the year so I’d have a portable project to work on. So far, so good…I think. LOL
01-23-15: starting gusset increases on the second sock!
01-25-15: just finished turning the heel, and thought I should leave some notes for the future. There are 9 pattern repeats before starting the gusset increases; and 4 pattern repeats while completing the heel.

Well, after washing and blocking, these socks are HUGE. Like. Man-sized, women’s size 11-huge. Oops. But they look good! LOL
