really old yarn from stash. (bought originally for mason jar covers.)

totally botched the lace on the first sock, (on right in photo) - one stitch short, would have been SO easy to fix, but I just pig-headedly kept soldiering on.
no worries tho, these socks will be hidden away in my hiking boots and will keep my feet toasty warm!

tons of yarn left over… gotta hit the thrift store for some old Ball Brand canning jars. (I only want a few - not the new 12-packs in stores!) have an idea to stuff them with solar fairy lights as Christmas decorations and possibly little gifts…)
