super nonplussed - I just quietly tucked them away and forgot all about them! Going to finish them up today and proudly wear them, garish as they may be!

Later today:
finished second sock and had a little confab
with my top fashion influencers:
all three - Cheeky Monkey, Punch AND Judy - all said pretty much the same thing…”Garish? I’m not seeing garish here!!!”
(tho I might have heard Judy muttering to herself, “Should probably wear these with boots so they’re not actually seen…“)
