such a cute, quick and easy pattern!

changed it a bit (for a thinner-looking rind):
only purled on row 1
row 1 - green
rows 2 thru 4 - aloe vera
row 5 - ecru
rows 6 and 7 - pink/white twist
row 8 - start red

(special thanks to yarniac2501, for the circular needle idea - works perfectly - SO much easier!)
