I doubled up the yarn for a gauge of about 4 sts and 4 rows per inch, CO 68, worked an inch and a half of K1 P1 ribbing. Chart is the show logo for Loading Ready Run’s weird-news show Feed Dump, and I am sending this hat in to LRR to hopefully be worn on Feed Dump. Ribbing was knitted in the round; chart was knitted flat, centered so the break is at the back of the hat; crown decreases were knitted in the round and the gap in back sewn up.
