Notes

Camp Loopy Project 2. I’m obviously crazy. If I knit this in a month, I am going to put it in a shadow box and keep it forever.

…Good thing I just invested in some new blocking boards…

7/1/2013 - Day 1 - I cast on and proceeded to mess the whole thing up. Recast on and knit four repeats of the edging. That’s right. 4. I knit a whole three inches. Go.Me.
7/8/2013- So…this is the yarn that did not want to be knit into anything. It did not like Rock Island, so I decided that I Wispy Cardi for my oldest might be a better fit. I got about half way done with the back of that and it just looked weird. Ripped that out and thought Celes might be work. That is, until I remembered how much I dislike provisional cast ons. Here we are 8 days late, with 500+ yards of knitting to go, Line Break. The yarn loves it, I’m enjoying the knitting (though I’m not very fond of garter stitch, it will be okay when it’s blocked).

Talk about a picky knitter.

7/20/2013-DONE!!! Phew. I will never knit two lace projects in one month again. This was a real mental challenge, but I’m so glad it is finally finished! And, I LOVE it.
