Trying out different colour combinations and trying to decide which one to make first.

First pair:
The grey Peru Wool will be the base colour, with 3 strands of red leftovers from my Poppy shawl (Rasmilla Luksusgarn + Holst Supersoft) asaccent colour.

Since my gauge is off (the yarn is slightly thicker, and it doesn’t look good going down a needle size), I cast on 32 st. I increased to 36 after the cuff, and then just followed the instructions for the smallest size.

Cast on just before the European handball finals started, knitted throughout the game (except when I got too distracted by the Danish team fighting) and when the boys had won the gold medal, I was done with the cuff and had finished the thumb gusset. A handball game is 2 x 30 minutes (and Denmark won gold!).
