Ser fint ut - bra strikkefastheit. Fame-garnet har litt lite tvinn, og deler seg lett, men blir pent i strikk.

I am happy so far - but have to watch the Fame yarn carefully to avoid splitting it with my needle. It is a singles yarn, and that is probably why this is a problem. Gorgeous colour and feel to the project.

Vottane er ferdige - og romslege til mi store damehand. Skulle gjerne ha tova dei litt i maskin, men det går jo ikkje med superwash-garn. Garna var greie å strikke saman, og ser framleis pene ut.

Desse gamle, symmetriske mønstrene er ein fryd å strikke - logiske, og med få lange sprang.
Gøy at det er symbolikk i mønstre frå vår kultur også.

Finished knitting - and they turned out slightly big for my large ladies’ hands. Different yarns could have been felted slightly, but these are superwash sockyarns. Oh, well -. I will wear them anyway.

These traditional, symmetric patterns are a joy to knit. Very logical, and with few long leaps between pattern stitches.
I still love thumb gussets. They make a big difference to the fit.
