Strikka 4 omgangar til med rett over rett, vr over vr.

Some chemo treatments leave you feeling cold to the bone. As alpaca is about four times as warm as sheep’s wool, I think it’s perfect for these wristlets. These are all variations of the same pattern - made up as I went along. Cast on 54st in thin alpaca yarn. Knit4, purl2 for about 10 cm. Twist some if you like. Start increasing for thumb gusset within one of the knit4 ridges, every other row until there are 16st there. Leave these on a thread, cast on 10st behind them, and continue in the round for another 3cm. Cast off. Place the 16 knit stitces on two dpn, and pick 10 more from where you made 10. Place these on a third needle, and knit the thumb. Make two decreases on either side of the thumb as you knit, and cast off when it has reached the same length as the rest of the wristlet.
