Tried to start with a tubular knitted edge (204sts), but then knitted 2 rows before the corrugated ribbing and it curl like hell!!! Ok, start over….

Long tail cast on in 186sts (end of tail… :S and I didn’t feel like start over again…), then the latvian band (It didn’t turned quite right, the purl bumps pop up too much), before the corrugated ribbing.
I’m knitting the corrugated ribbing with the purl yarn (200) arround the neck (portuguese style, great for purling) and knit yarn (207) in left hand.
Instead of 12-6-3 rib repeat, I’ll do 12-8-4, because I think the 3rows ribbing it’s too short, and I don’t want to modify the original effect too much.
It’s turning nice… but so slow and boring to knit…
Knitted the 1st rib repeat with 4,5mm needles, 2nd rib repeat and picot edging with 4mm needles….
And became larger in top than bottom, so… turned up side down! :)
As I didn’t made decreases the neck it’s a little large, turned more a capelet than a cowl, but it’s a HIT among my friends :D
